Hello Readers,
We have an announcement to make. We at Etranscriber.net have
recently upgraded our work based processes and IT systems to enhance the capability of our existing
flagship 24 hour TAT (Turnaround Time) online transcriber service. With the
improved systems, we are able to meet excess rush work in cyclical seasons. The
transcripts are all typed by hand and each transcript is proofread word by word
before sending it to the client, thus making sure the 24 hour rush transcripts
get delivered to the clients inbox as early as possible.
What upgrades have
been done?
Upgrade #1: We increased our internet bandwidth speed by 50
percent to 2 mbps/second. This helps us in downloading the audio and video
files quickly. Now, it takes us just half the time to download the file of the
same size. And this step has been really helpful for us. Because with our
previous internet connection we had to wait a very long time to download file
size. The time spent in downloading the file was not helpful as the 24 hour
rush transcription service deadline would now come down by a few hours or even
more.
Upgrade # 2: Our computers now work faster. Thanks to the
upgrade of computer RAMs, our system computers feels even smoother to operate
now.
Our transcription work has become so much more fun. The
moment we receive files for transcription from our clients, we are able to
download them so easily thanks to the fast transfer speeds of DSL. About our rush transcription service: We offer a 24 hour
transcription service. Those in need of the rush service can send us their
audio files that they want to be typed into text. Once the order is received we
start working on the files by typing the audio word by word into text. This
service is also known as Typing services. We deliver the typed document within
24 hours of receipt of files.
The eye for detail: Delivering time bound work usually
requires us that we work as fast as possible. However, we take utmost care to
type accurately, word for word. While transcribing audio files many times we
come across a word or a name the we might not have heard of. In this case we
take the most probably name and then Google it. In most of the cases Google is
able to pick up the word and suggest the correct word for it. In some cases
where audio in difficult to transcribe, we leave the word with a timestamp. The
client can them look at the timestamp and go to the specific audio place and
input the correct word.
What our customers
have to say about our 24 hour rush service: Lynda Wells, a freelance podcaster
had recorded an audio interview. The 2 person interview was to be transcribed
and posted on her website ASAP for her readers. So she hired our online
transcriber services. She sent us the digital file, and as soon as we received
it, we downloaded it and began transcribing it. We then delivered the file back
to her within the next 24 hours.
Besides Podcasters we also work with university students and
professors who need university transcriptions done.
Here is a small list of files that we can
transcribe:
We can transcribe interviews between 1 or more participants.
Focus group
discussions with multiple participants in it.
